LETTER FROM THE EDITOR
It’s often said that love finds us when we least expect it. That we don’t find love, it finds us. As I reflect on the stories in this issue, that maxim seems truer than ever.
This year, my husband and I will have been a couple for 20 years. We started dating in February 2002 when I was 20 years old, and we’ve been together ever since. We got married in 2010, had our first baby in 2013, and after spending half my life with him, I can say that we are as in love today as we’ve ever been.
As I sit writing this letter at the end of May, it finally feels like we are turning the corner with the coronavirus.
While the last year has been challenging (to put it mildly), the havoc wreaked by the pandemic on the wedding industry does have a silver lining: Weddings have become more intimate, personal, and inventive.
